Evolving and user friendly
Large, new design floor drain covers are changing the way people traditionally see floor drains. Nowadays, a floor drain can be a central part of interior design and even a starting point or inspiration for a desired style. Having a completely reliable drain system under the shower room floor leaves you more freedom with the parts that show.
Vieser Square’s compatibility with all Vieser One floor drains offers easy and reliable installation. Vieser drains in use have a very long cleaning interval. And when the time comes, cleaning the drains is a breeze simply by lifting the cover and rinsing the water trap – no special tools or work phases are required.
Thanks to their unique design language, Vieser Square design covers are a striking addition to a range of bathroom styles. The oversized 60 cm x 60 cm Vieser Square cover is meant to be seen and admired and brings visual interest to the entire room. The cover can be situated directly under the shower head, for instance. A square or rectangular rainfall shower head would then be the perfect complement, echoing the shape of the cover. The person in the shower stands on a large and stable grating. The Vieser Square cover looks especially beautiful, for example, with oversized 60 cm x 60 cm floor tiles.
Vieser Square is available in:
- Accoya wood, oiled or waxed
- Kebony wood, oiled
- Tiling or coating
The wood covers are especially well-suited to wet spaces and feel pleasant underfoot. Any type of floor tile can be chosen for the cover or, for instance, a microcement coating can be used in the cover.
The Vieser Square cover was created by Finnish designer Saku Sysiö. The new design covers were created to bring bold, new opportunities to the interior design of shower rooms. “We are changing people’s conceptions – making floor drain cover a part of shower room design and architecture.” – Saku Sysiö.
Vieser Square wooden covers are available in two material options: Accoya wood waxed or oiled and Kebony (oiled or Bali Edition) wood. The cover can be tiled to match the rest of the bathroom’s tiling/surfaces (e.g. microcement, resin).
