Beautiful & reliable
New, oversized design floor drain covers are changing the way people traditionally see floor drains. Today, floor drains can be more than simply a necessary technical solution. The purpose of a floor drain is, of course, to efficiently drain all water away from a shower room, but it also serves as an important design element in the space.
Kebony wooden covers have been treated using natural methods. Although the treatments provide the covers with a natural protection, we recommend treating the wooden covers with a protective agent once or twice a year.
Vieser Dot’s compatibility with all Vieser One floor drains offers easy and reliable installation. Vieser drains in use have a very long cleaning interval. And when the time comes, cleaning the drains is a breeze simply by lifting the cover and rinsing the water trap – no special tools or work phases are required.
With their unique design language, the round Vieser Dot design covers add a beautiful touch not just to shower rooms, but to entire homes. The oversized Ø60cm Vieser Dot cover is meant to be seen and admired and brings visual interest to a shower room’s decor. The cover can be situated directly under the shower head, for instance. A round rainfall shower head would then be the perfect complement, echoing the shape of the cover. The person in the shower stands on a large and stable cover.
Vieser Dot is available in:
- Kebony wood, oiled
- Tiling or coating
The wood covers are especially well-suited to wet spaces and feel pleasant underfoot. The cover meant for tiling can accommodate any kind of floor tile or it can be coated with, for example, microcement.
The designer behind the Vieser Dot wooden cover is Saku Sysiö. The new design covers were created to bring bold, new opportunities to the interior design of shower rooms. ”We are changing people’s conceptions – making floor drain covers a part of shower room design and architecture.” – Saku Sysiö.
Vieser Dot wooden covers are available in Kebony wood. The cover can be tiled to match the rest of the bathroom’s tiling/surfaces (e.g. microcement, resin).
